CBSE releases cut-off marks for posts of Junior Engineer, Junior Translation Officer

As per the cut-off released for the Junior Engineer, candidates belonging to the UR category scoring over 205.50 marks are now eligible to appear for the next stage, while it is 163.50 for Junior Translation Officer.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the cut-off marks for the posts of Junior Engineer and Junior Translation Officer. The result of the shortlisted candidates was earlier announced on October 22.

As per the cut-off released for the Junior Engineer, candidates belonging to the UR category scoring over 205.50 marks are now eligible to appear for the next stage, while it is 163.50 for Junior Translation Officer.

For candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and PwBD, the Junior Engineer cut-off marks are 201.00, 192.00, 204.00 and 149.00 respectively. For the Junior Translation Officers, the cut-off marks are slightly lower. They are 149.00. 147.00 and 144.00 for SC, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates respectively.

The selected candidates will be posted in any of the offices of the board – regional offices or centres of excellence at Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Guwahati, Noida, Patna, PanchkulaPune, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, Raebareli, a statement on the official notification said.

The CBSE announced the recruitment for Junior Engineer and Junior Translation Officer in March, 2024. The online registration process for the CBSE JE Recruitment 2024 began on March 12, 2024 and the deadline to register online was April 11, 2024. The exam was held on August 3, 10 and 11.
